Join Home Health of Western Colorado as a Biller in Montrose, CO. This role supports a Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health agency and is responsible for accurate billing and timely follow-up on Medicare, insurance, and Medicaid accounts.
The position is part of Volunteers of America National Services and offers the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven healthcare organization while supporting residents, patients, and the business office team.
Key responsibilities include billing Medicare and insurance claims, following through on billing issues, analyzing accounts over 90 days old, assisting with Business Office Manager duties as needed, attending required in-services, completing online modules, and performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school graduate with emphasis on data processing and office procedures
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable and payroll
- Strong flexibility and organization skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to use computers and electronic devices for timekeeping, training, and documentation
