We are seeking an experienced medical biller to support daily billing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health insurance and medical billing. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday.
Duties
- Accurate and complete charge entry
- Claims submission
- Ensure compliance with payer-specific rules and internal billing policies
- Communicate clearly with patients, payors, and coworkers through telephone, electronic, and written correspondence
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong understanding of billing practices
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines and billing procedures
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, detail-driven environment
- Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA
