Fast-growing physical therapy billing and revenue cycle management company serving outpatient PT practices across multiple states.
This role is for an experienced Physical Therapy Biller who can manage claims from submission through resolution, support accounts receivable, and help keep client revenue moving. The position is not entry-level and requires confidence working independently in an EMR.
Prompt EMR experience is strongly preferred.
Key responsibilities include submitting and managing outpatient physical therapy claims, working unpaid and underpaid accounts, resolving denials and payer issues, posting payments and adjustments, communicating with insurance companies, maintaining organized billing workflows, and collaborating with leadership to improve billing systems as the company grows.
Prior outpatient physical therapy billing experience
Strong understanding of CPT codes, modifiers, and payer rules
Experience working accounts receivable and denials
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strongly preferred:
- Hands-on experience with Prompt EMR
- Multi-payer experience across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Experience supporting multiple clinics or providers
