The role supports physicians, clinic staff, and patients by handling billing, claims, payment posting, follow-up, and revenue cycle tasks. This position helps keep accounts moving smoothly and contributes to reducing accounts receivable days.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience, preferably orthopedics
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines independently
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks
- Experience with Trizetto clearinghouse and Availity
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Proficiency in English
- Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and results-driven
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- Experience in medical billing: 1 year preferred
