Medical Healthcare Solutions (MHS) is hiring Medical Billing Specialists to support commercial, governmental, and third-party claims processing. This role focuses on follow-up for unpaid or denied claims, claim corrections and resubmissions, updating practice management systems with detailed notes, and communicating with insurance carriers and physician offices to resolve billing issues.
The position offers opportunities to work in specialty billing areas such as gastroenterology, orthopedics, multi-specialty, primary care, behavioral health, general surgery, workers' compensation, and pain management. Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in medical billing preferred
- Training available for entry-level candidates
- Strong understanding of EOBs, insurance guidelines, and claim processes
- Proficiency with billing software and EHR systems such as Allscripts and Epic
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Billing/coding certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and stay motivated
