Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented full-time Medical Billing Specialist to join a growing orthopedic practice in Utah County. The role focuses on managing insurance claims, payment posting, billing follow-up, and revenue cycle operations to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. This position supports the development of efficient revenue cycle processes in a modern, patient-centered practice.
The specialist will work closely with providers and staff to improve documentation and coding accuracy while helping maintain smooth billing operations and positive patient experiences.
Minimum 1–2 years of medical billing experience preferred.
Orthopedic billing experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance claim processes.
Experience with EMR and practice management software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred experience includes orthopedic, surgical, or specialty clinic billing, prior authorizations and appeals, and familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance carriers.
