Medical Coding Safety Evaluator

Remote clinical-review contractor role focused on evaluating AI outputs that affect clinical review. Reviewers assess reasoning quality, dosing logic, guideline adherence, and patient-safety concerns, then document corrected reasoning so the modeling team can improve outputs.

Responsibilities

• Review AI outputs against current clinical review guidelines and standards of care.
• Grade differential reasoning, dosing, and red-flag handling using a structured rubric.
• Flag patient-safety issues with severity tags aligned to clinical-incident taxonomies.
• Capture corrected clinical reasoning for model training.
• Adjudicate disputed cases using published evidence or specialty guidelines.
• Participate in weekly inter-rater calibration cycles and maintain reviewer-quality scores.

Example tasks

• Grade a model's differential-diagnosis reasoning on a clinical review case and write a brief assessment.
• Flag a dosing miscalculation with the appropriate severity tag and corrected dose.
• Resolve a disputed case between reviewers using current specialty guidelines.
• Audit a 25-case batch for rubric consistency and report drift to the program lead.
