Remote clinical-review role focused on evaluating AI outputs that touch clinical review and medical coding workflows.
You will assess model reasoning, identify patient-safety issues, and document corrected clinical reasoning to help improve model performance and guideline adherence.
Responsibilities
- Review AI outputs against current clinical review guidelines and standard of care for medical coding AI reviewer assignments.
- Grade differential reasoning, dosing logic, and red-flag handling using a structured rubric.
- Flag patient-safety issues with severity tags aligned to clinical-incident taxonomies.
- Capture corrected clinical reasoning so the modeling team can train on it.
- Adjudicate disputed cases using published evidence or specialty guidelines.
- Maintain reviewer quality scores through weekly inter-rater calibration cycles.
Example tasks
- Grade a model's differential-diagnosis reasoning and write a short assessment.
- Flag a dosing miscalculation with the correct severity tag and corrected dose.
- Adjudicate a disputed case between two reviewers using current specialty guidelines.
- Audit a multi-case batch for rubric consistency and report drift to the program lead.

Active or recent license or board certification in clinical review or an adjacent specialty.
Hands-on clinical experience reading patient cases and writing structured assessments.
Ability to apply multi-page rubrics consistently across long batches.
Clear written reasoning that cites guidelines, evidence, or standard of care.
Reliable async availability for at least 10 hours per week.
Nice to have
- Prior work as a guideline reviewer, peer reviewer, or clinical educator.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted clinical decision support and its failure modes.
- Bilingual clinical experience for non-English patient cases.
