MedLink Georgia is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) to join its Revenue Cycle team. This role focuses on accurate medical coding, chart review, and supporting reimbursement and compliance efforts for a community-based primary healthcare organization.

The position is based in Colbert, GA with remote options may be available.

Requirements & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P) or AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
At least 12 months of coding/chart review or related experience
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
Experience with E&M and in-office procedure coding strongly preferred

Skills and Knowledge

Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing procedures
Working knowledge of medical chart audits/review
Knowledge of Georgia collection laws
Strong organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and computational skills
Extensive accounting software skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to build effective working relationships with co-workers, patients, and management
