- Review patient accounts for billing discrepancies and resolve claim denials.
- Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims to maximize revenue recovery.
- Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, insurance communications, and payment histories.
- Work with healthcare providers and insurance companies to clarify billing issues, verify coverage, and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in coding and billing.
- Knowledge of healthcare financial concepts, including ICD-10 and CPT coding procedures.
- Understanding of insurance claim processing standards.
