IVX Health is seeking an Insurance Follow-Up Specialist to join its Billing Operations team. This role is responsible for resolving insurance claim denials, supporting timely reimbursement, and helping ensure a smooth patient care journey. The position can be worked fully remote anywhere in the U.S., with a hybrid option available for local candidates near the Brentwood, TN office.
The team focuses on precision, empathy, and revenue cycle performance while supporting access to care for patients with complex chronic conditions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare billing, claims, or insurance follow-up
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer policy nuances
- Experience with Medicare collections for specialty drug coverage, including portals, determinations, and appeals
- Proven success with Blue Cross payers; BCBS FL, Independence BC, and BCBS TX preferred
- Experience working with Medicaid and commercial insurance plans
- Familiarity with reimbursement regulations, managed care contracts, and denial resolution strategies
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
