Alternative Home Health Care LLC is a home health agency owned and operated by nurses with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, including the last 10 years specializing in home care management. The organization provides in-home nursing and rehabilitation care for individuals with medical and/or mental illnesses and focuses on compassionate, community-based care.
This position supports the billing operations for a home health organization, including Medicare billing, collections, authorizations, claim follow-up, and appeals. The role also involves assisting leadership with correspondence and upcoming authorizations as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience with Medicare billing
- Experience with authorizations and collections
- Experience handling billing claims and follow-ups
- Ability to submit TPLs, ADRs, and appeals to agencies
- Coding experience or certification is a plus
