Experienced medical billing specialist needed for a busy, established four-doctor podiatry practice. The role focuses on managing insurance claims, denials, EOBs, accounts receivable, and other day-to-day billing functions that keep the revenue cycle running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include submitting clean claims, following up on unpaid or denied claims, posting payments, resolving billing issues with insurers, and working closely with clinical and front-office staff to answer billing questions and maintain accurate records.

Requirements & Qualifications

2+ years of medical billing experience
Experience in podiatry, orthopedics, dermatology, or another specialty practice
Understanding of Medicare and commercial insurance billing
Knowledge of denials, appeals, corrected claims, and accounts receivable
Comfortable communicating with insurance companies to resolve issues
Strong attention to detail
Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Positive, friendly, and caring attitude
