Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region through more than 70 locations statewide. The Pharmacy department provides compounding, dispensing, drug information, and education to support safe and effective medication use.
As the Pharmacy Billing Specialist, you will perform day-to-day pharmacy coding and billing functions, help resolve pharmacy billing issues, work with system personnel to develop protocols that reduce problems, and ensure pharmacy processes are completed on time. You will also help capture and reconcile projected incoming revenue against prescription records while supporting administrative and financial integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal course work or training as a Pharmacy Technician or in Accounting
- Two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Current Hawai'i Pharmacy Technician registration
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in patient accounting or pharmacy billing
