In this position, you will help ensure patient accounts are processed correctly, insurance information is verified, claims are submitted accurately, and outstanding balances are followed up on. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to accuracy in the revenue cycle process.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of experience in medical insurance billing preferred
Knowledge of billing rules and guidelines set by Medicare and DHS
Familiarity with Epic preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
Responsive and effective communication
Ability to identify tickets requiring changes to charges, coding, or patient demographics
