Onco360 Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Medical Billing Specialist for its Woodridge, IL location.
This role supports end-to-end billing for company-specific IV and oral therapies on the pharmacy platform, with a focus on oncology and specialty pharmacy services. The position works Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
Key responsibilities include billing claims accurately, reviewing delivery tickets and payer requirements, managing appeals and redeterminations when needed, and serving as a resource for patients with billing and accounts receivable questions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of medical or specialty pharmacy infusion billing experience
- Working knowledge of HCPC coding, ICD-10, J-codes, CPT, and NDC claim billing
- Ability to read and interpret EOBs and payer/insurance correspondence
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
Preferred:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- 3+ years of specialty pharmacy and/or infusion billing experience
- PTCB/CPhT certification
