PRN Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a Follow Up Representative to support revenue cycle and medical billing operations from home.
This role is responsible for managing payer follow-up across primary and secondary claims, resolving outstanding balances, addressing denials, submitting appeals, and working correspondence to ensure timely payment of open claims. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with clinics and payors to move accounts through follow-up queues efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ year of prior medical receivables/collections experience preferred
- Understanding of medical claims processing
- Experience with insurance systems
- Knowledge of insurance billing and collections rules, including state and federal regulations
- Ability to understand claim denials and rejections
- Ability to read and interpret an Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
