The Social Spectrum provides center-based, community-based, and in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, along with speech and occupational therapy for children and young adults with autism ages 2–21.
This role is responsible for insurance billing, authorizations, claims management, provider credentialing, and accounts receivable. The position requires accuracy, efficiency, and strong knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, claims processing, authorizations, or healthcare administration
- Knowledge of commercial and/or Medicaid insurance billing processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and electronic billing systems
Preferred
- Experience in ABA, behavioral health, or a medical office
- Experience with Office Ally, Availity, or similar billing platforms
- Knowledge of provider credentialing and insurance enrollment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, or a related field
