You will work side by side with the owner/dentist in a modern, state-of-the-art dental office and help build long-term patient relationships.

Responsibilities include:

Performing thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
Performing sealants, taking impressions, and other clinical services as needed
Conducting patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions
Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Taking and developing dental X-rays while following proper positioning and safety protocols
Maintaining accurate patient records in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Following infection control, aseptic, and sterilization procedures
Reviewing medical records for completeness and accuracy
Supporting pediatric dentistry services with gentle, patient-centered care

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry with familiarity in dental terminology.

Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials
Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred
Strong knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and dental anatomy
Excellent patient care and communication skills, especially with pediatric patients
Ability to perform chairside hygiene duties confidently
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and medical records management is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment using EMR systems
