We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This role focuses on providing exceptional patient care, supporting dental health education, and assisting with clinical procedures in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
You will perform thorough cleanings, assessments, and preventive care while maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. Your work will help ensure a positive patient experience and support the overall efficiency of the dental practice.
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification.
Proven experience in dental office settings, preferably in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry.
Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EMR systems is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs and communicate clearly.
Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and medical imaging techniques related to dental care.
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management.
