Garner Dental Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join its well-established team. The role offers flexibility with 2–4 days of work per week and a supportive environment focused on patient care and professional growth.

Responsibilities include:

Performing dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
Conducting patient assessments, including oral health screenings and reviewing medical history
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Administering local anesthesia as required
Taking and interpreting dental x-rays and other diagnostic procedures
Maintaining accurate treatment plans and progress notes
Following infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
Collaborating with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care
Staying current with advancements in dental hygiene and participating in professional development

Requirements & Qualifications

Valid Iowa Dental Hygiene license required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer skills and attention to detail
Experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of dental coding for billing and insurance purposes
Familiarity with dental imaging systems and diagnostic procedures
