Registered Dental Hygienist

Come join a successful dental practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist.

All American Dental is seeking a responsible, determined dental hygienist to join a growing dental office committed to providing optimal dental care. Compensation will be based on experience.

Office hours are open to discussion on the hygiene schedule. The role follows a 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with two Fridays per month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient assessments and provide exceptional patient care during dental procedures
  • Utilize Eaglesoft/CareStack for efficient record-keeping and documentation review
  • Assist in chairside procedures while following aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Maintain medical records and ensure accurate coding for insurance purposes
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Registered Dental Hygienist certification required
  • Experience in all dental hygiene procedures, sealants, and administering local anesthesia
  • Self-motivated, compassionate, friendly, and respectful toward coworkers and patients
  • Dedicated to quality care with a commitment to patients' health, comfort, and education
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a varied patient population from children to seniors
  • Ability to assist in the diagnosis of dental disease
  • Proficiency in full dental hygiene services, including intra-oral cameras, digital imaging, fluoride applications, periodontal therapy, and soft tissue program development
  • Commitment to patient education on home hygiene tools, techniques, and dentist-recommended care
  • Experience with accurate documentation in a digital, paperless environment; Eaglesoft experience is a plus
  • Ability to maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations
