Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice
- Proven experience in dental hygiene within a clinical or dental office setting
- Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Opendent for documentation and EHR management
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and medical imaging techniques
- Strong understanding of infection prevention, aseptic techniques, and healthcare infection control standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate patients across diverse age groups
- Familiarity with chairside assisting techniques, dental equipment operation, and X-ray safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient care quality
