We are seeking an experienced medical billing and accounts receivable coordinator to manage all aspects of billing and accounts receivable in a healthcare facility.
The role focuses on skilled nursing billing, patient account management, payer follow-up, appeals, collections, and month-end close. You will work with billing systems and electronic medical records to maintain accurate resident account records and support timely reimbursement.
3–5 years of skilled nursing billing experience required.
Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A, Medicaid, Managed Medicare, and private pay billing.
Familiarity with PDPM billing guidelines.
Experience with MatrixCare billing software preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel.
Understanding of medical and insurance terminology.
Strong organizational, communication, and independent work skills.
High school diploma required; some college preferred.
Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Basic computer and internet proficiency.
