Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Analyst II

The Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Analyst II is responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining the hospital’s EMR and billing applications to ensure accurate and efficient claims processing, payment posting, and revenue cycle operations.

Key responsibilities include designing, building, testing, and implementing solutions within the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing application and related functionality such as Single Billing Office (SBO), Claims and Remittance, Charge Router, Patient Statements, and other modules.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Participation in an on-call rotation and occasional evening or weekend support may be required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Required experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of IT implementation and/or support experience
  • At least one full implementation lifecycle

Education

  • BA/BS required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred

Certifications / licensure required

  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing / SBO
  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing
  • Epic Claims / Remittance

Preferred experience and skills

  • At least one year of application experience
  • Healthcare experience desirable
  • Experience with charge router, workqueue configuration, collection agency workflows, statement processing, benefit engine, and estimates
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Project management skills, including leading meetings, prioritizing, resolving conflicts, maintaining issue lists, and managing project plans
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Good SharePoint usage
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-focused
Benefits & Perks

Compensation

  • Base pay range: $99,000 to $150,750 annually
  • Eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role

Work environment

  • Regular full-time position
  • May require on-call rotation and occasional evening or weekend support
