Under general direction, the Billing Coordinator oversees billing department operations and personnel activities to ensure an efficient and timely billing process.
The role supports facility statements, Medicaid of Texas, multiple third-party PDPs, hospice and Medicare B billing, prior authorization submission, claim follow-up, and reimbursement/rebilling workflows. The position also supports fraud, waste, and abuse training, HIPAA compliance, customer service, and coordination with nursing homes regarding Medicare-D plan changes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of experience in LTC pharmacy or related healthcare billing experience as a billing manager and/or licensed technician
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License required

- Able to reliably commute daily to Round Rock, TX
