Join PharMerica as a Claims Specialist in a non-retail, closed-door pharmacy environment focused on serving long-term care and senior living clients.
You will play a key role in supporting pharmaceutical services for hospitals, rehabilitation centers, long-term acute care hospitals, and specialized care centers. This is a 100% remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
In this role, you will manage rejected pharmacy claims, help ensure timely billing, and support accurate reimbursement and revenue integrity.
• High school diploma or GED required • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred • Customer service experience required • Up to 1 year of related experience preferred • Pharmacy technician experience preferred • Knowledge of pharmaceuticals preferred • Ability to retain and apply a large amount of information • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Basic math aptitude • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Knowledge of insurance industry trends and regulations preferred • Pharmacy technician certification desired but not required
