Responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generating weekly aging reports in a timely manner.
This role supports a physician-owned comprehensive cancer center with a patient-centered, evidence-based approach. The specialist works closely with billing staff, insurance payers, and patients to help resolve claim issues, maintain account accuracy, and support the organization’s mission and core values.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and billing software
