Serenity Hospice Care NJ is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, persistent, and proactive Billing Readiness Coordinator to oversee the daily billing-readiness and claims-hold process. This role ensures issues are identified, assigned, followed up on, and resolved before they affect the billing cycle.
The Billing Readiness Coordinator serves as the central point of coordination for issues that could prevent hospice claims from being billed. The role follows issues from identification through assignment, correction, verification, and release to Billing. It is well-suited for an experienced LPN with strong clinical workflow knowledge, excellent follow-through, and the ability to communicate clearly across departments.
Current, active New Jersey LPN license
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
HCHB experience preferred
Hospice or palliative care experience preferred
Strong understanding of documentation and clinical workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical abilities
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple outstanding issues
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable working with reports, tracking systems, and deadlines
