Long-term contract, part-time clinical quality improvement role supporting the Western Regional Region (WRO) under the regulatory jurisdiction of the Office of Developmental Services (ODP).
This position provides clinical consultation to county and provider staff to improve the quality of health care, supports compliance with state and federal standards, and helps interpret health care-related regulations and policy. The role also participates in quality management reporting, incident review and closure, death review and mortality follow-up, investigations, OBRA pre-admission assessments, and provider/lifecycle support related to complex medical and health conditions.
The coordinator serves as a technical resource to ODP staff, works with providers and county/program partners, and participates in risk management, planning meetings, committee assignments, and ongoing quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 3 years of professional clinical experience
- Minimum 2 years of quality improvement experience in a multi-faceted formal quality management program
- Computer proficiency, including word processing and database utilization/maintenance/management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, and GoToMeeting
Additional experience noted
