This role supports MRI, EMG/NCS, and PT/OT services, helping ensure patients are scheduled appropriately, authorizations are current, and documentation is complete. The coordinator also supports therapy clinic operations, patient communication, payment collection, and administrative workflows.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Advanced degree preferred
Experience
- 2 years of experience in a medical office or customer service role required
- 1 year of insurance verification or prior authorization experience preferred
- Experience with medical terminology and insurance carriers/benefits preferred
- Experience with practice management and EHR software preferred
Skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
