Data Integration Analyst - Healthcare Research

About the role

Medix is seeking a Data Integration Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of its healthcare research clients. This is a 100% remote role working EST hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain healthcare datasets, data integrations, reports, and workflow automation.
  • Work with data from systems such as OnCore, Epic, Salesforce, REDCap, and financial platforms.
  • Perform report pulls, model data within the data warehouse, and build or update Power BI dashboard features based on director requests.
  • Support existing data pipelines by monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated batch jobs and ETL pipelines.
  • Use Python and PowerShell to automate task scheduling and system tasks for batch processing.
  • Work in a higher education and healthcare research environment.
Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Professional work experience in higher education or healthcare/biomedical research.
  • Experience extracting data from platforms such as Epic, REDCap, OnCore, OpenClinica, Castor EDC, Qualtrics, or similar systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in PowerShell or Python for automating batch ETL processes.
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available.
