As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will serve as a critical diagnostic expert performing complex laboratory tests to ensure accurate, timely results that support patient diagnosis and treatment.
You will execute a wide range of analytical procedures across multiple laboratory disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, and microbiology. Responsibilities include analyzing specimens, operating and maintaining instruments, interpreting results, and conducting quality control to provide essential data for clinical decision-making.
You will also perform waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures, provide excellent patient care through clinical correlation of results and timely notification of critical values, and help ensure laboratory equipment remains operational through maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. In addition, you will support proficiency testing and assist with documentation needed to validate new procedures and equipment.
