Join CVS Health as an Authorization Specialist supporting Coram and the National team.
You will work closely with Patient Intake Coordinators and insurance providers to obtain prior authorization for in-home specialty therapies and help process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. This role is fast-paced, customer-focused, and centered on supporting patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers.
The position requires living within a commutable distance of one of the listed locations:
- Malvern, PA
- Mendota Heights, MN
- San Diego, CA
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm CST or 9:00am to 5:30pm CST.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience with benefits from insurance companies
- Experience with authorization requests
- Data entry experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Word
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred:
- Home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
