At Lymphedema Therapy Specialists, Inc. (LTS), the Collections Specialist supports the organization’s mission by managing medical collections, resolving outstanding claims, and helping maintain the financial health of the practice.
This role involves following up on unpaid, delayed, and denied claims; preparing appeals and disputes; reviewing EOBs and denial codes; and working with EHR/EMR systems, billing software, and payer portals. The position also supports patient communication, account resolution, and collaboration with billing and administrative teams to improve reimbursement workflows and patient experience.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in medical collections required
- Experience using EHR and Practice Management software required
- Background in insurance verification and billing processes preferred
- Experience with AdvancedMD is a strong plus
