During this time, remote data acquisitions are performed, which involve the collection of data transmitted from the patient's device to a monitoring facility. The facility is responsible for registering the patient for remote interrogation and providing the necessary equipment, along with installation instructions and ongoing technical support to ensure proper setup. An interrogation schedule is established based on the physician's orders, guiding the technician in performing the device interrogation. The technician at the remote facility receives the transmitted data, reviews it meticulously, and compares it against the parameters set by the physician. This review includes an assessment of the device's functionality, such as the condition of leads and battery life. Any deviations from the established parameters, as well as alerts generated by the device, are identified and communicated to the physician.
