Vasopneumatic devices are typically utilized for short-term therapeutic purposes, specifically for a duration of less than 21 days, and are particularly effective in addressing conditions such as edema that may arise following an acute injury, as well as lymphedema that can result from various diseases, injuries, or surgical interventions.
