Altercare Hartville is seeking a Medical Records Technician to maintain all medical records in the facility, ensuring proper order and completeness.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare admissions and re-admission chart records in both hard copy and electronic formats.
Complete audits and validation reports, communicating findings to Director of Nursing (DON).
Maintain records of all discharged residents in proper order.

Education and Experience:

Graduation from an accredited school with a diploma equivalent.
College or Medical Billing/Coding schooling required or must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Prior training desirable but not necessary. On-the-job training and in-service provided.
Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
RHIT credential desirable but not required.
