Intune Physical Therapy, partnered with Spero Rehab, provides physical therapy services in Austin and Houston, TX, specializing in neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic care, sports injury rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy, and aquatic therapy. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first contact for patients, managing appointments, insurance verification, payments, and electronic medical records to ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, verifying insurance and documentation, scheduling appointments, answering calls, processing payments, obtaining authorizations, managing medical records, coordinating patient flow, maintaining a clean reception area, handling office duties, and assisting with insurance claims processing.
Qualifications required are a high school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred), 1-2 years of medical office or customer service experience, knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures, proficiency with electronic medical records and practice management software, strong computer and communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, multitasking skills, and a professional and friendly demeanor. Knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures is preferred.
