Medi Home Health Agency, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., is seeking an experienced full-time Medical Records Coordinator for the Home Health office in Pensacola and Escambia, FL.
The role is responsible for pre-billing functions, submission of OASIS data, and maintaining patient medical records accurately and timely.
- Participates in the pre-billing process with the Office Manager and Clinical Manager.
- Oversees the follow-up on outstanding F2F documents by the Medical Records Indexer and assists as needed to meet agency goals.
- Works with the Medical Records Indexer and Marketing staff to facilitate obtaining signed orders.
- Ensures medical records are scanned timely into document imaging software, up to date, and organized per agency policy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- Three months related experience preferred.
