Medical Records Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Process medical records email, fax line, and phone calls.
  • Process Additional Documentation Requests (ADR) from CMS and Private Insurances.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues with internal EMR systems related to clinical processing of visits, documents, data, billing, and other issues.
  • Create best-practice processes for EMR systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with office and field staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting.
  • At least one year experience using HCHB related to Home Health and Hospice operations.
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance rules and CMS guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis for solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Pay rate is approximately $25/hour, depending on experience.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Home Health or Hospice setting
