We’re looking for a Medical Records Coordinator at an exciting time - we’ve successfully launched multiple platforms and products, raised over $70m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a growth trajectory of over 100% YoY.

What You Will Be Getting Involved In

We’re seeking a hard-working and diligent Medical Records Coordinator to ensure the accuracy and organization of our medical records and provide outstanding support to attorneys and clients.

Role

As a rapidly scaling business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Some typical responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining various files, logs, and medical records ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assembling patients' health information including patient symptoms, medical history, exam results, reports, and billing.
  • Reviewing and ensuring all patient forms are completed, properly identified, signed, and uploaded in the preferred style.
  • Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify and obtain information.
  • Submitting requested documentation to physicians or for use in legal actions while following patient consent and confidentiality protocols.

What You Might Bring To The Table

  • Go-getter mentality with high attention to detail and strong organization skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining accuracy of patient medical records, and knowledge of HIPAA, medical insurance regulations, coding, billing, and reimbursement protocols.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working in the legal industry, especially personal injury, is a plus.

Interview Process

  • Introductory telephone call (~30 minutes) with Senior Talent Partner.
  • Video call with hiring manager (~45 minutes) focusing on technical and role specifics.
  • Small assessment stage (in-person, take-home, or video) respecting candidate's time.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Comfort with MS Office, especially Excel.
