HealthMark Group, a leader in health IT solutions, is seeking an entry-level Onsite Medical Records Processing Specialist to join their team. This role involves handling Release of Information (ROI) requests efficiently and accurately to support healthcare providers across the country.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing all incoming ROI requests timely and maintaining 100% ROI accuracy.
- Completing STAT requests within an hour and maintaining a 24-hour turnaround for other requests.
- Keeping all request queues current.
- Validating requests and authorizing release of Protected Health Information (PHI) according to established procedures.
- Performing quality checks to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and proper invoicing.
- Maintaining confidentiality, security, and ethical standards during handling of medical records.
- Completing legal affidavits and scanning ROI requests into patient charts.
- Adhering to company and client ROI policies.
- Maintaining professional appearance and orderly work area.
- Providing excellent customer service, effective communication, and proactive complaint resolution.
