The HealthCare Connection (THCC), founded in 1967 as Ohio's first Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), serves over 20,000 patients annually through two primary care clinics and six school-based health centers. THCC offers integrated services including Primary Care, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease, Substance Use Treatment, Behavioral Health, Dental, Women's Health, and Pharmacy, recognized as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH).
As a Medical Records Clerk, you will manage back-office operations and clerical duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring accurate health information management and facilitating timely specialty referrals and diagnostics. Responsibilities include handling incoming calls and messages in the EHR, scheduling appointments, processing faxes and record requests, managing immunization and consultation records, supporting providers with external forms, and maintaining referral logs.
This is an onsite position in Mt. Healthy, OH, reporting to the QI Director.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or similar medical setting.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Preferred: 2+ years in healthcare or medical office environment.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Physical demands include mostly sitting with occasional standing, walking, light lifting (up to 25 lbs), and close vision requirements.
