Join Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Medical Records Coordinator where you will assist in day-to-day Health Information Management (HIM) clerical activities, manage workflows, support physician record completion, and serve as on-site liaison in the absence of the HIM Leader.
Responsibilities include managing patient records, resolving unbilled accounts, facilitating physician suspensions, assisting in employee training, processing Release of Information requests, and ensuring productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of HIM department experience focused on incomplete record management strongly preferred
- RHIA or RHIT certification preferred
