This entry-level onsite position at 308 Willow Ave, Hoboken, NJ involves processing medical records requests efficiently and accurately.
Job responsibilities include:
- Completing all incoming ROI requests promptly
- Maintaining 100% ROI accuracy
- Completing STAT requests within one hour and all others within 24 hours
- Keeping all request queues current
- Validating requests and authorizing release of PHI per established procedures
- Performing quality checks to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and proper invoicing
- Maintaining confidentiality, security, and ethical standards during transport, storage, and disposal of medical records
- Completing legal affidavits and answering questions as needed
- Regularly scanning ROI requests into charts
- Adhering to ROI policies of HealthMark and their clients
- Maintaining professional appearance and clean work areas
- Updating facility guides as needed
- Providing excellent customer service with effective communication and complaint de-escalation
