As a Patient Coordinator, you will be integral in bridging patient care with administrative excellence. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality service from the moment they walk through our doors.
You will coordinate patient appointments, verify insurance, handle referrals, maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality, assist with front desk operations including answering phone calls and managing inquiries, work closely with clinicians and administrative staff to enhance patient experience, and ensure a welcoming and organized clinic environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficient in using office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
