Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients with professionalism, managing calls and appointment scheduling, verifying insurance, making appointment reminder calls, collecting copayments and assisting billing processes, maintaining accurate patient records and documentation, and collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care. Additional clerical duties support smooth practice operations.
Qualifications require a high school diploma (associate's degree encouraged), 12 years of medical office experience, familiarity with eClinicalWorks (ECW) as a plus, and Medical Assistant experience considered an advantage. Excellent communication, multitasking, organizational skills, professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, and tech savviness are essential.
Compensation is $21 to $25 hourly based on experience with full-time benefits including healthcare, vision, dental (after 90 days), 401k matching after 1 year, and paid time off.
