Senior Patient Coordinator

In this position, you will serve as the initial point of contact with patients, referring physicians, and the general public on the imaging center’s behalf which includes welcoming all patients and their family members into the imaging center, making patients and visitors feel comfortable, and anticipating and attending to the needs of our patients. Duties include checking patients in, answering telephones, routing incoming calls appropriately, scheduling appointments, collecting patient balances at time of service, and other front office/desk duties as necessary.

Requirements and qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 2 years Patient Coordinator experience, full training in all aspects of medical front office duties, strong customer service skills, professional communication skills, computer proficiency, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred experience includes working in a physician practice or medical services office, knowledge of medical terminology, prior patient collections experience in a medical setting, medical records experience, and a Bachelor’s Degree.
