Join us as a Medical Records Coordinator for our onsite Medical Center managing patient medical records of all residents in our Continuing Care neighborhoods.
Compensation starts at $23/hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and review medical records for completion and deficiencies on resident discharges
- Code admission/discharge diagnoses using ICD-10 for Medicare and regulatory compliance
- Perform monthly audits of discharge records
- Participate in Nurse Management, QA/QI, Operations, and Resident Care Management teams
- Evaluate clinical information and assign appropriate ICD-10 CM and CPT codes to ensure billing accuracy
- Audit incomplete records and prepare delinquency reports, ensuring HIPAA-compliant medical record release
- Manage QA/QI program components per long-term care facility regulations and assist in developing monitoring follow-up procedures
- Provide backup to MDS Coordinator for state transmissions
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility medical record regulations and retrieval practices
- Proficiency in interdisciplinary communication and coordination
- Strong understanding of medical record regulations, standards, and terminology
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
